School children promote rail travel from Blythe Bridge

22nd October 2014

Forsbrook Primary School children have risen brilliantly to our challenge to come up with colourful designs to promote rail travel from their local station, Blythe Bridge.

16 youngsters have created a variety of posters promoting some of the key tourist attractions that can be easily accessed using the Crewe-Stoke-Derby route, like Tutbury Castle, Gladstone Pottery Museum (Longton) and Crewe Heritage Centre: their designs are now on display along Platform 1.

Faye Lambert, Community Rail Project Officer said: "This is the third project for Blythe Bridge whereby Forsbrook Primary School has happily joined with us to improve and promote their local station, so grateful thanks to the children and Art Teacher Miss Hindmarsh for their continued support. I’m sure passengers will enjoy seeing the children’s creative designs on display."
