Bee Friendly planters at Tutbury & Hatton Station

3rd June 2021

Claire and the volunteers, helped by EMR staff, have worked hard to clear a small piece of land adjacent to the road by the signal box.

Thanks to EMR, Community Rail Network and the Bee Friendly Trust this new garden is now the home of two huge trough planters, planted up with bee friendly species.

The garden is a work in progress as we decide what to plant in the rest of the space. Many thanks to Goodlife Pharmacy for filling up our water bottles to water the plants.
