Middleport art group, Arts and Minds, helps veterans with mental health issues by providing specialist counselling and a venue for art activities. As part of EMR’s Routes of Remembrance project the group worked with artist, Mel Langton, to create a collage of local images. It featured Spitfires, canals, bottle ovens, poppies and the Stoke-on-Trent War Memorial. Their collage was then joined with those of seven other groups from across the EMR network to create a huge poster which is displayed at Derby and Nottingham Stations.
