Crewe is a major junction and station on the West Coast Main Line and a major rail gateway to the North West. As well as the regular all stations service to Derby on the North Staffordshire Line, Crewe station provides frequent services to London Euston and Birmingham and regular services to North and South Wales and Scotland. Crewe has a rich railway history and is home to Crewe Heritage Centre which features a wide variety of historic locomotives, signal boxes and miniature railways.
