“Welcome to ‘On Track’, our report on progress during the past year. This year the title might be more fittingly ‘Not Always On Track’ since, sadly, we have had both yearlong industrial action and also the need for a campaign for the full reinstatement of the hourly service between Crewe and Nottingham. I’m pleased to say this campaign has now met with partial success with four of the six missing trains promised for reinstatement, Monday to Friday only, starting in December 2023. These include the missing peak travel time services. We continue to press for the return of all services and invite anyone wishing to support this campaign to sign our on-line petition.”
