Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Rose Garden

Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Rose Garden

May 2022

The station adopters at Blythe Bridge worked especially hard throughout 2022 to empty an overgrown raised bed near the car park.  They removed a monster thorny Berberis plant, roots and all.  In its stead they have created a beautiful new blue, red and white rose garden in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.  The roses were funded by an EMR Station Improvement grant.

Picture of a commemorative plaque for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee placed in front of the garden bed outside the Blythe Bridge station car park.
