Pupils from Wolgarston High School took part in a litter-pick at Penkridge Station as part of their Community Day in July 2022. They litter-picked at the station before taking an accompanied Rails to Trails walk around Penkridge in the summer sunshine, learning about the history of the village. On returning to school they researched the village’s history further and then created some fantastic poems which were displayed at the station.
