North Staffs Community Rail Partnership took part in National Heritage Open Days this year offering a number of talks and tours at Stafford and Crewe Stations in partnership with Avanti West Coast. There were two illustrated talks at Stafford Station with Michael Willmot delivering a talk on A History of Rail Travel Poster Art and Robin Mathems giving a talk on the History of the Trent Valley Railway. At Crewe Station Niki Abnet gave a tour of the station including information on the history of Crewe Station and the railway in Crewe plus attendees got to visit areas not normally open to the public!
