Jul 2025

Join us to celebrate Stoke-on-Trent’s Centenary year with our Pottery Plates competition. Get creative and design a plate depicting what Stoke-on-Trent means to you – this could be your favourite place, landmarks, history or something different!

The competition is for young people and 18 and under. There are three age categories; 8 and under, 9-13’s and 14-18’s. The winner in each category will have the opportunity to visit Emma Bridgewater’s Design Studio to recreate their winning design, in paint, on a plate that will be fired for them to keep. They’ll also be treated to a drink and a slice of cake! Runners-up in each category will win two tickets for a day out at Gladstone Pottery Museum.
