Derby Museum and Art Gallery is a maze of historic architecture and intriguing collections with each room very different from the last. The museum houses a dedicated gallery of internationally significant paintings by world famous artist Joseph Wright of Derby and a ceramics collection from Derbyshire. Further displays include an archaeology collection full of fantastic finds from the earliest prehistory to the 18th century, natural history, geology, military collections and world cultures.
