The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery

The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery is a 25-minute walk from Stoke-On-Trent station.

The Potteries Museum is a family-friendly museum that has a range of interactive displays and frequent family-friendly events. They also offer children’s trails and family activity packs. The Museum has a new addition in the new spitfire gallery which houses a RW388 Spitfire. The permanent exhibition also includes displays and a celebration of iconic designer Reginald Mitchell.

The museum’s collection of Staffordshire pottery is widely acknowledged as the finest in the world and other collections of fine and decorative arts, natural science, social history and archaeology have local, regional and national significance. The museum is also now home to a number of artefacts from the Staffordshire Hoard.
