An image of the Westport Lake Visitor Center, situated on the edge of Westport Lake, a great spot for bird-watching and walking. It boasts a welcoming cafe with panoramic views of the water and is the perfect place to visit for families, walkers and nature lovers.

Westport Lake is a 20-minute walk or 6-minute cycle from Longport station.

This is Stoke-on-Trent’s largest expanse of open water and an important home to overwintering birds. It’s a great spot for bird-watching and walking with a footpath around the lake of about 1 mile. The Westport Lake Visitor Centre has a cafe with panoramic views of the water and there are regular family activities provided by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. There is also a children’s play area with equipment suitable for a variety of ages.
