Community Rail Partnership Officer

Charlotte is a Community Rail Partnership responsible for Derby, Peartree, Tutbury and Hatton, Uttoxeter, Blythe Bridge, Longton, Longport, Kidsgrove and Alsager Stations.

Charlotte’s interest in railways stretches back to her childhood where she fell in love with train adventures that took her on many journeys on the trains to London, Brighton, Leeds, Manchester and many more places to visit museums, family, and the seaside.

Charlotte has worked for Local Authority and Voluntary Sector organisations for over twenty-five years in several different roles including Community Engagement Officer, Housing Advisor, Independent Domestic Violence Advocate, Community Warden and Market Manager. She has a strong passion for developing, strengthening, empowering communities and volunteers.

She has also worked on a voluntary basis for a local living well with Parkinsons group and residents’ association helping to organise events, litter picks and projects to improve health and wellbeing and the local area.
