Kidsgrove – Bathpool Country Park

Bathpool Park is a haven for ducks, geese, swans and other water birds.
Surfaces mainly flat and hard. Some rough ground between 3 and 6 not suitable for wheelchair users.

Walk Directions

Leave the station car park and cross the canal bridge. Continue straight on along Meadows Rd.

At the T junction turn right along the Avenue, crossing the road when safe to do so.

After about 10 minutes turn left into Boathorse Road. (Use pavement on right hand side.)

After a further 10 minutes, turn right at a staggered cross roads to find Bathpool Park (Northern) care park. Take the path down the left hand side of the car park.

After about 10 minutes cross over the railway line using the bridge opposite the ski slope.

Turn left to continue along the path around Bath Pool.

Continue to walk along the lakeside path in a clockwise direction.

Continue straight on, passing Ski Kidsgrove on your left.

Return to car park, then retrace your steps back to the station.
