Derby Station to Darley Abbey – new Rails to Trails route

Derby Station to Darley Abbey – new Rails to Trails route

Jun 2023

Researched by our Peartree Station Adopter, Ian Clark, this is a new, 5 mile walk which starts and finishes at Derby Station.   It takes in the city’s Cathedral Quarter, Darley Park and the historic village of Darley Abbey.  Much of the route is alongside the lovely Riverside path, suitable for cyclists as well as pedestrians.  The Darley Park Tea Room is highly recommended!
